‘Referencing training has helped me be more confident in my assignments. It’s invaluable!’

Doctoral student

We are pleased to report that our Information Skills Trainer,  Mathieu Lubrun, has achieved the status of Fellow of  Higher Education Academy and  is happy to give training sessions embedded into academic long courses. Mostly these are pre-arranged with your tutors, but if you find that this hasn’t happened, do request that your tutor arranges a session for your group. He is also available to give one-to-one sessions to staff and researchers.

Sessions available

  • Introduction to the library
  • Basic and advanced database searching
  • Citing and referencing
  • Using EndNote to manage your references
  • Avoiding plagiarism

If you need some immediate help, staff and students can check out the Information Skills Moodle page.
